I saw one of these up close once. You can tell from this picture, even, that they body is handmade, and they don’t go for the degree of finish they do on the muscle cars. Raise the hood and it looks like an aircraft engine.

Stuff from the ‘flat earth society’ has come across my radar before, and I swear that whole group has got to just be a game, there’s no way that many people are so throughly convinced that the earth is flat... in 2016... It’s got to be a good-humored game to them just for the mental exercise.

The Lm002 is probably bad ass enough to put a flat spot in the earth though

I don’t think so, though it would be fun to pretend to be one.

My brother and his friend legitimately believe in this and argued with me about it when I was giving counterpoints.

I feel like it’s less of an argument but more of a certain group of people stubbornly denying proven scientific theories that they themselves experience daily.

They seem to serious to be serious, however I remember my fellow countrymen are stupid and that is bound to be an international thing.

I read a few posts. In retrospect, it would’ve been nice had I not been taught to read as a child and grown up illiterate; there’s a great chance I never would’ve found the job I have and bought the computer I have now to read the nonsense I just read on that god damn site.

I don’t... what? I can’t really... it doesn’t.... I..... help me.
Seriously, these are people who are ‘proving’ a scientific theory by merit of the theory being true.

Sweet jesus.
“trains can stretch to 12,000 feet, sometimes as much as 14,000 feet (more than four kilometres), weighing up to 18,000 tons. At the trains end it would be around a foot lower elevation than the engine. This means all weight is constantly being pulled up hill. how is this possible? A more logical answer in that the load is moved over a flat surface so once moving the only hindering force is friction. I believe trains would not move on a round earth.”
This person is the culmination of millions of years of evolution. Unlike 99.999% of all organisms on Earth that have ever lived, they have not only mastered the basic business of living and staying alive, but have the ability to think, to reason, to form abstract thoughts, and communicate them using incredibly complex machines that use incredibly complex patterns of the building blocks of reality to do wonders not even imagined a few decades ago, to people all over the planet at nearly the speed of light. All that, to say “trains would not move on a round earth” because “all weight is constantly being pulled up hill”.
For fuck’s sake.
